2007 Laconia Nationals Schedule

7:00am Vendor set-up begins at Gunstock Resort
9:00am-8:00pm Registration/Check-in for drivers and cars opens
at Gunstock Resort, Gilford, NH
10:00am-4:00pm Open House at Jim Lowery’s Hot Rods, Tilton
(directions in events bag….worth seeing)
12:00 Noon Gunstock Parking lot. Sign up for “Slow Cruise Poker
Run”
1:00pm Poker Run hits the road. Scenic 70 mile cruise around
Lake Winnipesaukee with stops in downtown Wolfeboro (oldest
vacation community in US), Melvin Village Garage, Castle in the
Clouds Estate and Meredith. Poker hands turned-in and
registered at Gunstock announcer booth by 6pm. $250.00 cash
prize to winner.
1:00pm Half price admission for spectators opens at Gunstock.
Limited events and demos
2:00pm-5:00pm Open house to view Dick Metz Private Collection.
Countryside Dr., Gilford. Featuring restored cars, toys, advertising and automobilia. (directions in events bag…spectacular collection)
4:00pm to 8:00pm Cruise Night Hangout at Weirs Beach along
the boardwalk.
5:00pm Lounge opens at Gunstock with Kick-Off Spaghetti Fest
and old hot rod movies on 12’ screen.
6:00pm First Burnout Competition of the weekend at Gunstock.
Prizes to participants.
8:00pm-11:00pm Live Rock and Roll Sock Hop in Main Room at
Gunstock. 50’s and 60’s costumes win prizes.

Saturday, May 26, 2007

8:00am-5:00pm Registration/check-in reopens for drivers and
cars at Gunstock Resort.
8:00pm Line-up and formation for Mayors Kick-Off Parade from
Merriam Graves parking lot in downtown Laconia to Gunstock.
(Parade speed 10-15 mph minimum)
8:00am Last minute set up for vendors.
9:00am Parade leaves with Laconia Police escort.
9:00am-9:00pm Spectator gates open. Events, vendors and
demos, chairlift mountain top, burnout competition, motorcycle
daredevils, muffler rapping, flame throwers, model car and pedal
car displays, 50/50 raffle, games and coloring contest, plenty of
oldies and a Chicken Bar B Que and more……

8:00am-10:00am Registration/check-in reopens for drivers and cars.
9am-4:00pm Spectator gates open. Events, vendors and demos,
chairlift to mountain top and more……
2:00pm Awards and trophies. Over $13,000.00 in prizes….plus one registered driver will qualification for Right Coast Association
“American Graffiti” give away Coupe.
