| Diana RWS 9B by RWS |
The RWS Model 9B has the cocking handle hinged at the front of the receiver that lifts upward from the rear. The handle activates a ratcheted wheel that provides a lot of leverage so cocking effort is only eight pounds and yet it is factory rated at over 500 ft/sec. The cocking stroke is longer, but much easier than comparable air guns. Cocking the air gun automatically exposes the breech for loading a pellet into the 8" barrel. In addition to the safety, which resets automatically during cocking, there is a cocking lever lock that must be engaged before the air pistol can be fired. |

RWS 9B Air Pistol Review
Easiest to cock, yet 550 fps
The new easy-to-cock Model 9B air pistol from RWS has
a cocking handle that is hinged at the front of the receiver and lifts
upward from the rear. The handle actuates a ratcheted wheel that
provides a lot of leverage so cocking effort is only eight pounds and
yet it is factory rated at over 500 ft/sec. The cocking stroke is
longer, but much easier than comparable air guns. Cocking the air gun
automatically exposes the breech for loading a pellet into the 8"
barrel. In addition to the ambidextrous safety, which resets
automatically when cocking, there is a cocking lever lock that must be
engaged before the air pistol can be fired.
Sights are adjustable and the right hand grips include a thumb
rest. The airgun weighs about 2-lbs 6-oz and is 10.4" long with an 8"
barrel. Caliber is .177 and the velocity is factory rated at a whopping
550 fps and is easily approached with lightweight pellets.
These great air guns have been getting rave reviews from
consumers and airgun professionals alike. Another example of RWS
leadership in air guns.
